Sonoma County Energy Independence Program, in collaboration with North Coast Energy Services, is seeking interested homeowners who would like to achieve Energy Independence, but who have not yet financed their own system in the current economy. Income qualified individuals may be selected to receive a free solar installation at their home. The State of California is providing 50 Income Qualified FREE Weatherization and 3.5 kW Grid-tied Solar Power Systems, including equipment and installation through North Coast Energy Services. As Sonoma County is committed to clean energy generation for all of its residents, the staff of the Sonoma County Energy Independence Program will assist candidates through the application process for “Solar For All California” and other weatherization programs available to income qualified residents.
